Israel bolsters Egypt ties with $15bn gas deal | Financial Times

An Israeli energy company has announced a $15bn deal to export natural gas to Egypt, highlighting the deepening strategic ties between the two countries as well as Cairo’s ambitions to become a regional energy hub.

In what Yuval Steinitz, the Israeli energy minister, hailed as the most significant deal with Egypt since the countries’ 1979 peace accord, Israel’s Delek Group said it had signed an agreement to supply 64bn cubic metres of gas over a decade to Dolphinus Holdings, a private Egyptian company.

  1. Maybe now Israel will be able to live up to it’s obligations under International Law and ensure that the necessities to sustain life are provided to the Gazans under Israeli Occupation.

    Dershowitz is right. You only want to believe what you wanna believe. Check the stats on health. The Gazan people are multiplying, living longer and if you look around at some articles on Gazan health, including stuff from the World Health Organization, even getting fat.

    I challenge you to dig up one article from a credible news source that shows a Gazan citizen who died of undernourishment and starvation.

    Don’t count someone who died of some other disease that stopped them from being able to eat. That’s what happened to my elderly father, here in the States.

    And don’t count someone who is a political opponent of Hamas that was starved to death because he was imprisoned by them.

    You undermine your own credibility with your exaggerations.
