Description

APRIL 12, 2026: WE ARE OUT OF STOCK, SO PLEASE DON’T PLACE ANY MORE ORDERS UNTIL NEXT YEAR.

MARCH 31, 2026:  SORRY SOLD OUT!

MARCH 25, 2026:  Just a quick update.

After opening our shipment from Israel, the matzah has been damaged beyond a saleable condition.

However, we’ve managed to secure an alternative supply, though it comes in twin 1 kg boxes (each containing 2 × 500 g packs).

We realise 1kg is way too much for the average household, so we will break open the box and just send you one pack, so don’t be alarmed if the packaging lacks the usual finesse.

Of course, if you have ordered two or more, we will only give you a pack outside of the cardboard box if you have purchased an odd number.

We expect to receive these tomorrow or the day after and will contact you if you are in Christchurch and want to pick it up, and if you have paid for delivery, we will dispatch them promptly.

Tracking numbers will follow by email.

About the Manufacturer

Matzot Aviv was established in 1887 at the border between Jaffa and Neve-Tzedek, the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv.

Matzot Aviv was the first automated factory for matzos in Israel. The factory moved to its current location in the city of Bnei-Brak, which is a suburb of Tel Aviv, in 1946 and was rebuilt completely in 1986.

Today, Aviv has the most sophisticated technology and machinery with the best “know how” in order to produce genuine matzos, cookies and matzo products.

Matzot Aviv has its own Research and Development division that keeps innovating new products every year in order to make Passover an interesting culinary holiday.
